Version 0.1 — draft Last updated 28 July 2026

Draft — structure and intent only. Every section below needs review by a lawyer qualified in Mongolian consumer and contract law before launch. Sections marked TO DRAFT need text written, not just reviewed.

1. Who we are

TO DRAFT — registered company name, registration number, registered address in Ulaanbaatar, and contact email.

2. Your account

  • One account per person. Accounts must not be shared, and we may close an account that is.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details private.
  • Users under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission to buy a paid bundle.
  • TO DRAFT — minimum age, parental consent mechanism, and account recovery.

3. Bundles and access

  • A bundle gives access to the material, marking and features for one target band, for 90 days from purchase.
  • A free-trial code opens one bundle in full for a fixed period set by us. It is one per account, and access ends when the period ends.
  • Daily submission limits apply to marking: 3 essays and 6 recordings per day at Bands 6.0–6.5, and 5 and 10 at Bands 7.0–8.0.
  • We may extend a bundle window at our discretion, and we will if you are working the plan.

4. Payment, upgrades, refunds

  • Prices are in Mongolian tugrik and include applicable tax.
  • Upgrading to a higher band costs the difference in price only, at any time during your bundle window.
  • Downgrades are not refunded in cash.
  • TO DRAFT — cooling-off period, refund window and process, payment processors used, failed-payment handling. Mongolian consumer law sets minimums here; confirm them.

5. Student discount and promo codes

  • The 50% student discount applies to verified high-school students and younger, and lasts until the end of the academic year.
  • Verification requires a student card showing your name, school and year. We delete the image once verification is complete.
  • Promo codes and the student discount do not stack — whichever is better for you is applied.
  • We may cancel a discount obtained with false information, and may reverse the associated purchase.

6. Acceptable use

  • Don't share, resell or republish our material.
  • Don't share an account, and don't use the marking service on behalf of other people.
  • Don't submit content that isn't yours, or that is unlawful or abusive.
  • Don't attempt to extract our content in bulk or interfere with the service.

7. Content and intellectual property

  • Our material, design and software remain ours. Your bundle gives you personal access, not ownership.
  • Your essays and recordings remain yours. We process them to produce your feedback and your readiness score.
  • TO DRAFT — the exact licence you grant us over submitted work, and whether it may be used in anonymised form to improve the service.

8. IELTS trademarks

StudyPass prepares students for IELTS. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by IELTS, Cambridge English, IDP Education or the British Council. "IELTS" is their trademark and is used here only to describe the exam we prepare students for. We do not reproduce official IELTS test material.

The StudyPass Band Certificate is issued by us and is not an IELTS result. No institution is obliged to recognise it.

9. Liability

TO DRAFT — service-availability expectations, limitation of liability, and what happens if the service is interrupted. Must not attempt to exclude rights that Mongolian consumer law gives you.

What we will not do, in any version of this section: claim that using StudyPass produces a particular IELTS result. We provide preparation material and marking; the result is yours to earn.

10. Ending your account

  • You can close your account at any time from your settings, or by emailing us.
  • We may suspend an account for account sharing, bulk extraction of content, or abuse of the marking service.
  • TO DRAFT — notice period before suspension, appeal route, and what happens to a paid bundle on closure.

11. Governing law

TO DRAFT — governing law (expected: Mongolia), competent courts, and dispute-resolution route.
